<wolfspraul>
yes ok, I meant the one at unixgarden
<wpwrak>
lekernel: thanks :) blog post: sure ;-) on vimeo, i get "Uh ph! There was a problem loading this video."
<kristianpaul>
wow your video with midi is great ! wpwrak
<wpwrak>
thanks ! :) which one ? the one with real music or the one where i was just experimenting ?
<kristianpaul>
MVI_1743.MOV
<kristianpaul>
i amazed how well looks that "midi panel"
<wpwrak>
yeah, the kaossilator is a pretty neat device. also for making music. well, the kind that unskilled people like me "make"
<kristianpaul>
:-)
<wpwrak>
it's not a perfect input device for M1, though, because you can't use all the controls for MIDI.
<wpwrak>
but it's a convenient compromise :)
<wpwrak>
if you remember my wpan setup and message transmission video, i made the percussion that was playing as the audio track with a kaossilator (that one without the "pro")
<kristianpaul>
but anyway, the first i want to buy my M1 as accesory is a screen
<wpwrak>
i just see that it has encoders, not pots. that would be great for M1.
<kristianpaul>
yes
<kristianpaul>
but this USB is been taking over clasic MIDI it seems
<kristianpaul>
ah wait this have MIDI too
<wpwrak>
with pots and sliders you have the problem that you may need to adjust all of them after switching patches. now imagine you really go for an excessive number of settings ...
<wpwrak>
hmm. i'm beginning to see that boehringer device in an entirely new light, now that i realized it has "endless" decoders
<kristianpaul>
boehringer?
<wpwrak>
err, behringer
<wpwrak>
hmm, how to get mysterious effects from the kaossilator, lession #1: disconned K from MIDI chain. place other midi device on top, such that it touches the pad. use controls of the midi device and be puzzles about the K making sounds.
