<clay_1> Hello everyone !
<clay_1> I am still looking what happens to the unused LUT inputs
<clay_1> As kgugala confirmed their value is always 1
<clay_1> And as I understand this happens by connecting them to HARD 1
<clay_1> So I suspect that this connection is also a fake pip, doesnt appear in the bitstream but is always there unless another pip is activated so it gets bypassed.
<clay_1> Am I correct in that ?
<clay_1> Also I was looking into the possibility of changing this default to hard 0 but It looks impossible since I see no possible wires there.

<OmniMancer> clay_1: AFAIK it is good practice for the toolchain to set the initialisation of the LUTs such that unused inputs do not affect the output at all
<clay_1> OmniMancer yes it makes sense, but right now I am trying to test possible "what ifs" to get a more solid understanding of how things are done, what is possible and what not
<ZirconiumX> Depending on the architecture, sometimes you might have it set to 1, sometimes to 0
<clay_1> I am talking about xilinx 7 series

<Degi> Is a google account with real PII required for GSoC?
<az0re> Degi: I dunno but probably since google sux balls
<lambda> I have my doubts, I know someone who participated in GSoC last year who would definitely never give their PII to google
