no need for the jumper, you just put a disk in the (external) floppy drive and boot from that

the overlay is just a genlock thing, I don't think it needs a full video toaster.

also 28F010 eeprom/byte-level-flash chips have a finite floating-gate-cell charge life, so desoldering them and dumping them (and re-burning the existing beta code over top of itself in an eprom programmer) is probably a good idea
