<TD-Linux> anyone here have an sc-88pro, and if so, know what would cause it to not move the bars on front (but still play music)?
<TD-Linux> does it have multiple pages of channels on the front or something?
<TD-Linux> and/or is there someone in the bay area that would lend me theirs for a day
<TD-Linux> oh whoops forgot I already asked the question
<TD-Linux> but it still stands :^)
<Lord_Nightmare> could be a fault cable between the mainboard and the display board
<Lord_Nightmare> assuming display/control board has its own cpu/mcu
<Lord_Nightmare> the very first thing that sort of fauly screams at me is 'bad caps'
<Lord_Nightmare> i'd check for leaking smd electrolytic cans on the whole board and display/control board
<TD-Linux> it does display the bars when "ALL" is pressed
<TD-Linux> I'm also curious if something can cause it over MIDI
