Yet another nifty use of Go, I see. I'ma Python guy, myself, but lately I sure have been enjoying some of the way slick stuff you Go guys create. Caddy Server and Hugo are both pretty sweet, too.

Huh... So, it appears the fuse mount is indeed rather not good yet. :( Hard froze (can't even kill -9 it) on a copy operation.

That python api lib looks nifty tho. I can think of a few uses for that.

<SchrodingersScat>
Rudde: in my experience you can still get errors, but it can detect when errors occur.
<SchrodingersScat>
Rudde: although I was working with a /terrible/ idea to use amazon as my ipfs data storage. So, ymmv.
<SchrodingersScat>
one day I'll come up with an idea that isn't terrible, and that will be my day :D
<Rudde>
I was thinking more as a rpovider
<Rudde>
so earn some coins
<SchrodingersScat>
ah, you're interested in the #filecoin then
<Rudde>
Oh
<Rudde>
But isn't this for the technology?
<SchrodingersScat>
Rudde: not sure how filecoin handles errors, presumably if it's so bad that you can't send the data then you don't get paid, not making that cash money, i gots to get paid son
<SchrodingersScat>
Rudde: technology is the future

<hannes[m]>
yo! if i want to publish local files to ipfs i use "add" not "pin" right?
<hannes[m]>
or do i have to pin after add to never lose them?
<hannes[m]>
is there a way to avoid the duplication of the file? i am low on space :}
<francis[m]>
how can i clone an ipfs node?
<lgierth>
francis[m]: do you mean copy all data to another node?
<lgierth>
francis[m]: ipfs refs local will print all blocks you have stored, and you can pass that to ipfs pin add: `ipfs refs local | ssh user@host ipfs pin add`
<francis[m]>
yes lgierth (and how to keep it in sync)
<lgierth>
there's currently no automatic way to keep it updated, you'll have to come up with a script or cronjob
<francis[m]>
there is no "subscribe" model?
<hannes[m]>
hmmm, if i "ipfs add" something, i completely lose the original filename? is there a way to somehow attach it?
<francis[m]>
i subscribe to a copy, and i always have a link to the latest version?
