<hramrach__> hello

<hramrach__> Astralix: the notion of wrong in this community is odd
<hramrach__> you say that something that works always is wrong (rkcrc) and someething that works sometimes and reliaes on a blob (make kernel.img) is right
<hramrach__> that's kind of backwards
<hramrach__> if there is more than one way to do it the way you do not use is necessarily not wrong ffs

<FergusL> hi rockchipians
<hramrach__> hello
<FergusL> Astralix seemed to complain while not acting
<FergusL> while not moving, I mean
<hramrach__> seems agreement is hard to reach here
<FergusL> criticism is okay, but I think generaly in "open" projects one has to just "do it" instead of complaining
<hramrach__> some people seem to have their OnlyTrueWay and when somebody does different they consider it wrong even if it works
<FergusL> no offense at all ^
<hramrach__> it's not like they are not doing stuff :p
<FergusL> that's not the issue, I mean, they might be doing a lot
<FergusL> but when it comes to an issue, if one notices an error, it's fine to modify it BUT it's crucial to accept that it might be changed back and explained

<naobsd> I'll write/update wiki when I can get enough time
<naobsd> but sometimes I just point out somewhere it's wrong on chat
<naobsd> because I think rewriting someone's article w/o explanation might be bad
<naobsd> rewriting something which is simply wrong should be ok but
<naobsd> rewriting something like "technically it's not wrong but direction/goal is not same as mine"
<naobsd> is not good.
<naobsd> well
<naobsd> I don't want to spend my time to say non-technical things
<naobsd> I'll try to write new pages what I believe "it's true" for me, then I ask "it's ok to replace another page?"
<naobsd> ah, I don't say "everyone, please wait til my work is done"
<naobsd> please do it freely
<naobsd> I just said I also do it freely but w/o touching current pages
<naobsd> ah, well, it might cause problem like "which page is better!?!?" ;)
