john_k[m]: just for info, i tested with a simple M2 to PCIe adapter instead of the NextX2G and the bitstream is not reloading itself on Host reboot

the white S/N sticker and green QR code sticker boards appear to have different manufacturer (different silkscreen manufacturer markings)

although I have seem the same behaviour between two green QR code boards (one works and chaser starts, the other programs successfully but then does nothing)

the stock bitstream starts on both and it shows up in `lspci` so it would appear that the boards are otherwise functional
