I've got the ttrss powerbox thing afaik fully working for non-TLS urls (with a patch to sandstorm that I just opened a pr for).
<isd>
...which of course means that in practice it still totally doesn't work because most stuff is https these days. So I still need to work out how to MITM the TLS requests.
<abliss>
awesome! is that pushed to master? can you upload an spk to play with?
<isd>
The ttrss changes are on master in my repo. I don't have an spk built, but the usual vagrant-spk dance should work fine.
<isd>
working on spoofing a CA now.
<isd>
Mind you, it's kinda hard to find feeds in the wild that don't at some point redirect to https.

isd: very exciting! Sounds like you are close to being able to put the new app up on the market for review? should we begin the process of rekeying it, or is jason around to publish?
<JacobWeisz[m]>
I don't think it's impossible to get the key from Jason, hasn't been that long since someone got a key from him. Biggest issue is gonna be cleaning up migration, presumably.
<abliss->
i tried the built-in migration on one of my grains, and it seemed to work fine. obviously needs more testing, but there may not be much to do.
<isd>
There's probably more stuff to do after this. I assume I'll have to port over whatever he did to get clients working (offer iframes and such).
<isd>
If we're going to replace the old app, we need not to regress in functionality.

Yeah, I think that's not super sophisticated though, particularly if the admin panel hasn't changed drastically.
<JacobWeisz[m]>
And you haven't added Cron yet, have you?
