<Lord_Nightmare> I do need to get one of those, even if its just a raw pcb to stuff into the hollowed out original c64 psu case
<andlabs> brb, but first, have a random video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeTygKpi6pI
<cr1901_modern> I'm scared after viewing that video
<cr1901_modern> Oh right, I forgot double sharps/flats existed too
<cr1901_modern> Oh hey, at 3:44, they recreated the Windows 95 chime

<cr1901_modern> I would if twitter wasn't f***ing abysmal in getting gif addresses
<cr1901_modern> and I didn't have to open Inspector to find it
<cr1901_modern> oh and twitter didn't have literally 20 layers of divs between the tweet and the gif
<ValleyBell> I need some help naming a feature/option. I have a MIDI player and added a feature where it sends patch changes ahead of time. (like 50ms earlier than noted in the file)
<ValleyBell> This is to work around some lag that happens when loading multiple patches at once.
<ValleyBell> Now the question is: How do I call the option?
<cr1901_modern> "eager"
<ValleyBell> The variants I could think of were "early" and "premature" (patch changes).
<cr1901_modern> "aot" (ahead of time)
<ValleyBell> That doesn't sound too bad either.

<mrspicy2244> Edward-d tech says that GEW10 uses a different 12 bit compression format than the classic format
<TD-Linux> lookahead?
<mrspicy2244> Or readahead. That's like SWP70

<cr1901_modern> Waveshaping is... changing the shape of a wave, typically through a nonlinear filter. Meaning none of the FIR/IIR filter theory applies
<cr1901_modern> Idk much about it
<mrspicy2244> Okay
<mrspicy2244> So is the GEW10 lof-fi like GEW12?
<cr1901_modern> That's prob a LN question. Please be patient
<cr1901_modern> Idk where he is right now
