<andlabs> how often does mpyne check their issue tracker
<andlabs> hmm
<andlabs> acutally I may have diagnosed it
<andlabs> the inclusion of the fallback file itself in the same directory means the compiler will always find it before it finds the generated file
<andlabs> man I just fucking love it when you type in something in a web form and then you acicdentally click back on that tab and it causes the thing you typed in to get lost because it's 2020 and we still haven't figured out how to actually catch mistakes that I literally cannot possibly be the only person making right

<Sarayan> huhu, we spend our time missing each other. Foone, what about now?
<andlabs> first me and now Foone_
<andlabs> welcome to time distortion starring Sarayan
<andlabs> ????

<Foone_> I'm here now!
<cr1901_modern> cc: Sarayan
<Sarayan> Yay!
<Sarayan> damn. 1.5 hour reaction time, that's not going to work
<Foone_> HELLO
<cr1901_modern> Yaaaay! Down to 2 minutes response time
<cr1901_modern> can we do better?
<cr1901_modern> cc: Sarayan ^^
<Sarayan> HELLO!
<Sarayan> mwahahahaha
<Sarayan> beautiful
<Sarayan> sorry, was implementing the voice registers in the ks0164
<Foone_> hi
<Sarayan> The question is, in or infinite pile of cra^H^H^Hantique hardware, do you have some wavetable card using a ks0164 as a synth?
<Sarayan> s/or/your/
<Foone_> I don't believe so, no. I don't think I have any cards with wavetable add-ons, and I'm not sure I have any of the cards that'd have it built in
<Sarayan> too bad
<Foone_> I'll keep an eye out though. I'll check my soundcardpile when I'm next in storage
<Sarayan> Cool
<Sarayan> we're emulating the ks0164 from essentially nothing, guessing at the cpu opcodes and stuff, and it would be cool to have a dump of one of the official GM sound roms
<Sarayan> e.g. the ks0174-[124]M
<Foone_> cool cool. I'll also doublecheck my "weird cards" pile, since it's possible I have a wavetable add-on in there for a card I don't have
<Sarayan> who knows
<Sarayan> the company which brought the company which brought the company still has manual and drivers? That's... impressive
<Foone_> turns out I missed one layer.
<Foone_> it's 4 deep, not 3 deep
<Sarayan> even more impressive
