now i guess the next project is figuring out why the system itself doesn't even try to start up, i'm assuming the fault is the PSU

I'm not really planning to keep working on it for now. I just have a bunch of other projects stacked up on my desk right now and a few more about to arrive, so I think now that I dumped the ROMs I'm just gonna throw it all in a (very big) box and toss it into storage for later

I have two c64 psus, and i suspect both are bad already. I haven't powered them on since last testing them, so any salvagable components inside are probably still ok
