<KitsuWhooa> Yeah, you'll probably have to take as many chips out as you can and soak the board in soapy water
<KitsuWhooa> or maybe vinegar depending on what that thing is
<KitsuWhooa> and use a toothbrush to scrub it
<KitsuWhooa> The rust looks like it dissolved that rf shield so you probably can't do much about that. The board looks like it's mostly fixable though as long as you get that crap off it
<KitsuWhooa> oh, and a toothbrush :p
<KitsuWhooa> But yeah, I'd probably go with soapy water with dishwashing soap first
<andlabs> what dissolved RF shield
<andlabs> I'm lifting it up and to the right because it's somehow still attached
<KitsuWhooa> the one on the RF modulator
<KitsuWhooa> the corner looks like it's barely staying there

<andlabs> I'm not seeing it but we'll find out when I actually do start cleaning it which will likely be later tonight
<ZrX-NoMs> It'll work after maybe changing the CIA.

<andlabs> is the CIA responsible for entering 64 mode?
<andlabs> and CRAM colors?
<andlabs> I thought that *only* having no cursor was a symptom of CIA
<cr1901_modern> I don't know enough about C64 or 128 to respond :(
