Hello! I've tried googling and searching the archives a bit already, but I haven't found anything. Is there an OSS way to program ice40 NVCM or to blow the ecp5 OTP fuses?

<tnt>
flammit: not that I know for the ice40. no idea for the ecp5.
<tnt>
the doc is especially not helpful ... just that the device 'behaves like a 25xx SPI flash' ...
<daveshah>
You have to send a "secret" unlock code first
<daveshah>
It should be possible to determine the algorithm from the svf files Diamond Programmer can create
<daveshah>
As for ECP5, I'm not even sure what the OTP fuses do let alone how to burn them

<flammit>
yeah the docs aren't terribly helpful for either.
<flammit>
my understanding of the ecp5 OTP fuses is just from Lattice TN1215 - so just enough to set an AES key to decrypt an encrypted bitstream.
<flammit>
thanks for the info though! looks like a bit of work ahead for me
<flammit>
like you've said, I hope it's mostly a matter of just looking at what the diamond tooling does
