<tnt>
Measured frequency of a ring oscillator around the UP5k die vs Core voltage.
<tnt>
at 0.95v it just stop operating. and below 0.98/0.99 it still oscillates but you see heavy distortion on duty cycle. (I guess one side of the PMOS/NMOS internally fails quicker).

In comparaison, blowing freeze spray or 150C air on the chip makes very little difference (less than the difference of 0.025v core voltage).

Does someone here have an explanation how the names "recovery time" and "removal time" make sense? I think I know what they mean, just not how their meaning is connected to the names.
<tnt>
in what context ?
<Morn_>
timing at flip-flops with asynchronous set or reset

kc8apf: What was that website which was a website for looking at disassembly to understand performance?
<vup2>
do you mean godbolt.org ?
<kc8apf>
Probably

bubble_buster: when I saw the huge variation in timing in icecube2 when varying the environment parameters.
<bubble_buster>
ah. do the results agree with the timing analysis tool? or is it conservative?

no idea ... timing analysis doesn't work for a ring oscillator :p

I see. but I would think you could enumerate parameters with timing analysis and find a corresponding curve even with a different design, would be interesting to see if it was also linear and similar slope

tnt: very nice data
<TD-Linux>
same. would be nice to plug it into nextpnr somehow
<daveshah>
Should be quite easy if it's just a linear factor
