<Kokjo> On the ecp5 does anyone know how to to use the JTAGG primitive?
<Kokjo> I tried to find docs describing it, but i could not find any...
<daveshah> From memory, it is triggered by two custom IR commands, 0x32 and 0x38
<daveshah> I haven't used it myself though
<daveshah> I think the hadbadge project used it to load firmware into RAM
<Kokjo> Degi: Well i did find that, too. But it doesnt really describe how it works...
<daveshah> Lattice have some documentation in the libraries guide for the MachXO2 equivalent that mostly applies to ECP5 too
<Kokjo> daveshah: cool, thanks :)
<Kokjo> daveshah: thanks for pointing me in the right direction

<tnt> I'm trying to get the path that generate a given signal using yosys 'selection' syntax. I got the name of the signal that drives the FF.D input and I'm trying something like %co:+[resp_nak_SB_DFFR_Q_D_SB_LUT4_O] but no success.
<daveshah> I don't think you include the square brackets
<daveshah> I don't fully understand the rule syntax but I think what you do is resp_nak_SB_DFFR_Q_D_SB_LUT4_O %ci
<tnt> that returns nothing. I tried c:resp_nak_SB_DFFR_Q_D_SB_LUT4_O %ci (with c: to match on name, but that resulted in abort() out of range exception)
<daveshah> Can you try a `cd top` (or whatever your top module is called beforehand)
<daveshah> the abort sounds like a bug that should be dealt with separately
<tnt> ok, cd doen't change anything but 'show' instead of 'ltp' doesn't crash so good enough. Not I need to find out how to "stop" the %ci* recursion when it finds a FF.
<tnt> Something like show c:resp_nak_SB_DFFR_Q_D_SB_LUT4_O %ci10:-SB_DFFR,SB_DFF,SB_DFFE,SB_SPRAM256KA,SB_RAM40_4KNW seems to work. It's a bit annoying that pattern matching '*' doesn't seem to work to exclude cell types but I guess that'll have to do.
