I'm testing yet another IRC bridging system, through my Matrix server

I really like the "Matrix" servers. When I heard the name, and saw their main webclient "Riot", I was like "Hmm, ok, it's time to test some new technologies !". And then... reality, where you have to edit YAML files in a specific folder with a text editor... So High-Tech !

Yeah... The thing is, Riot is one of the rare webchat client that supports VideoConferencing by "just" setting up the STUN address server in the server.

Which means that once the STUN server is in place (to open holes in the firewalls and prepare the NAT systems), "it just works"

However, they have a "Federation" system with catastrophic performances cost. So I disabled it.

I'm still surprised that, with the advent of "Web Real Time Conferencing" (and technologies like TURN/STUN), so few chat clients propose VOIP features.
