<Werner>
Si
<IgorPec>
how good is this h6 thermal adjustement?
<IgorPec>
possible to squeeze it in this relese or needs more testing?
<IgorPec>
i am home tomorrow so I would rather start with rebuild.
<Werner>
I wont be unhappy if you could get at least one more person to test on any H6 board.
<Werner>
I also do not have a sample without heatsink
<IgorPec>
i also have heatsink everwhere , but can remove it
<Werner>
Well I cannot. superglued ;D
<IgorPec>
i am using special tape so its possible to get it off but hard
<IgorPec>
do you have debs somewhere?
<Werner>
I was able to push it barely about 80°C with stress
<Werner>
No. I recreated them without the patch to see what changed and that overwrote the old ones.
<Werner>
There is no need to force it in anyways I think. Basically we are safe as it is because there is at least some thermal stuff in and 2nd atm the H6 is still soft-capped at 1488MHz via cpufrequtils
<Werner>
Needs manual unlocking and that is at users own risk.
<IgorPec>
not when you ran sbc-bench :)
<IgorPec>
i am running that as a stress test and its failing there ... this default settings. Now if this new patch is doing better, good
<Werner>
I see...
<IgorPec>
the problem is that board powers off
<IgorPec>
also with a heatsink
<Werner>
Hm I did some torture to it over the years but it never failed...maybe I was just lucky ^^
<IgorPec>
torture in 1.8Ghz?
<Werner>
Let me give it another shot
<IgorPec>
i am also about to run a stress test on 3 different h6 boards
