<Shuriuken> I have a question regarding the latest cm10.1 nightly. default superuser appears to be integrated into the system, no longer allowing me to disable it and use another (such as supersu by chainfire) I located superuser in my settings, if I hit disable from there, will it allow me to use supersu as default without wrecking anything?
<JointArN> Hi, I'm looking for help. I just installed my first CM 10.1 build on a GT I3095 SGS3. I'm a bit curious as if my 4G option is working or not. I also noticed that his is easily fixed. I am new to all of this, but I'm not "dumb". Gladly accepting any help I can get and I hope I'm not throwing my question out in the wrong place!

<Shuriuken> I was unaware that model had cm10.1 available for it. must install on mine (assuming you meant i9305 and not i3095)
<JointArN> It has an unofficial build yeah, want the link?
<Shuriuken> sure :)

<Shuriuken> is there a TWRP for I9305? I really should look lol
<JointArN> As I said, I'm no pro. I have some C++ skills. And I know that somehow I can access a system log and add my LTE functionality manually
<JointArN> By typing it. How do I do this? I think it's possible in the phone isn't it?

<JointArN> But, i take it that when I have 4G, it should say I am accessed to an LTE network/4G somewhere right?
<Shuriuken> it should. what kind of indicator did it give before?
<Shuriuken> should have some kind of similar indicator
<Shuriuken> gah ffs
<Shuriuken> one should not have a gf who lives in another town if he insists on setting his phone up how he likes it set up
<JointArN> Nah it has a new one. The CM10 has a more.. Jellybean like symbol.
<Shuriuken> it's near on impossible to set it up
<JointArN> But there should be some kind of "You have 4G" indicator somewhere..
<Shuriuken> you get like 10 text msgs just while you're setting options and then because you haven't replied because you want to apply the settings, you get a phone call, then it messes everything where you were lol
<Shuriuken> so annoying
<JointArN> Wait, it did show a 4G indicator in the original Android build with the GT-I9305. But it says in the changelog that this doesn't show for CM10.1 on this build
<JointArN> Hah oh dear. poor gal ;)
<Shuriuken> lol poor phone
<Shuriuken> it's in danger of being smashed to bits
<Shuriuken> and replaced by a njokia 3310
<Shuriuken> at least the only mods I can do on that are ringtones
<Shuriuken> lol
<JointArN> Hah!
<JointArN> Again though, shouldn't there be an indicator that my 4G is working?
<Shuriuken> I really need to sort out this superuser crisis lol
<Shuriuken> there should be
<JointArN> I tried changing the APN in the system, to 4g.tele2.se. And it works now, so it would be weird if I didn't have 4G and connected to their APN
<Shuriuken> I would think there would be
<Shuriuken> have you tried a speed test?
<Shuriuken> that would be a good indicator of what you're connected on
<JointArN> I thought I would do that now actually ^^
<JointArN> what is the max speed for 3G+
<Shuriuken> I'm taking a food break lol
<Shuriuken> ummmm.... network?
<Shuriuken> I think it's capable of 14mbps
<Shuriuken> but
<Shuriuken> that depends on your network provider
<Shuriuken> I think Telstra give about 8-10 mbps
<JointArN> But the speedtest.net app should show if I have LTE?
<Shuriuken> vodafone gave me 21kbps here
<JointArN> SO far, download is 6365 kbps
<Shuriuken> no, it doesn't show what you're connecting through, just speeds
<Shuriuken> I'll be back in about 10-15 minutes
<JointArN> Oh, sure.
<JointArN> It says I have 9.59 mpbs.
<JointArN> Wish there was a way to see if I have LTE, but If I am connected to 4g.tele2.se and it is all working, it should have the 4G speed really. Or am I wrong? It wouldn't make sense at all otherwise
