<Thiagovfar> Don't like the terms, don't buy the thing.
<jomp16> God thanks for the The Pirate Bay
<jomp16> And for .apks for Android without root (like iOS)
<a3Dman> I wonder how would it take to leech Warner Bros' 100 film collection in 1080p using 512kbps connection...
<a3Dman> It should hit ~1000GB decent rip and ~5000GB for remux'd ones xD
<Thiagovfar> Torrent is very efficient, it normally uploads the initial seed only once.

<a3Dman> not bad
<a3Dman> didn't try RR3
<jomp16> A7 or MW?
<a3Dman> but MW >>>>>>> A7
<Thiagovfar> Here it says 189 days...
<a3Dman> Thiagovfar: I could just upgrade to 2Mbit connection to do them xD
<a3Dman> Thiagovfar: yeah you're right

<Thiagovfar> If anybody asks, that wasn't my idea.
<a3Dman> if I had a lot of money, I would just make my own ISP
<jomp16> Yes, MW has a good graphics and cars, but A7 updates is amazing
<a3Dman> MW is best than A7 at any given time
<jomp16> So, download A7 and MW :-P
<a3Dman> seriously, Chrome devs can't fix the damn widget?
<a3Dman> since the first release and it's broken...
<Thiagovfar> What widget?
<a3Dman> Chrome for Android widget
<jomp16> Try Beta if this is fixed
<a3Dman> it's not
<a3Dman> and it's reported in tons if places
<a3Dman> this is like the damn contact pictures bug
<jomp16> So, download the sauce code and fix it yourself
<jomp16> I think Google released the sauce code in Chromium project
<a3Dman> it's released, I don't have the time to fix this
<jomp16> So, love the bug
<a3Dman> nope, I don't have to
<a3Dman> this bugs defeats the whole purpose of the widget, it's easy to reproduce and it's reported for a lot of time
<a3Dman> not fixing this is just lame...

<jomp16> Its will be amazing if the dev of the kernel backport the fixes to CM team or cody use the codes from the kernel
<frankdrey> bootanimation?
<frankdrey> the flickering?
<frankdrey> that's fixed by updating bootloader
<jomp16> Not this
<frankdrey> ok
<jomp16> The bootanimation incorrect
<jomp16> Because of the hardcoded screen orientation
<jomp16> Because of the kernel

<Sildar> Hello channel.
<Sildar> I have what I hope is a dumb question. I've just installed the latest i777 CM10 nightly (cm-10.1-20130308-NIGHTLY-i777), and on first boot the Setup Wizard force-closes repeatedly. I can't seem to find the CM forum for the i777 builds, so I don't know if this is a known issue.
<chadouming> wiped data ?
<Sildar> Yeah, wiped everything.
<Jiangyi> Installed proper gapps/
<Jiangyi> ?
<Sildar> Yes, just grabbed them from goo.im
<chadouming> i don't think they have 4.2.2 gapps on goo.im yet
<chadouming> nvm it's there
* Jiangyi doesn't trust goo.im gapps anymore
* Jiangyi brews his own off of theirs
<Sildar> I decided to update to the newest nightly because the previous build I was running, from January, for some reason didn't recognize any SD cards. I figured I'd flash to a new build and try my luck, but now I can't get past setup.
<Sildar> I'm not equipped to build anything right now. Do you recommend grabbing gapps somewhere other than goo.im, Jiangyi?
<clibot> [Link] www.mediafire.com: gapps-jb-20130208-signed.zip
<Jiangyi> This should work fine.
<Jiangyi> Go into CWM, format /system, flash the CM zip, flash this, reboot.
<Sildar> Alright, I'll give it a shot.

<jomp16> Hey, what the packages necessary to build Android in Arch environment?
<Thiagovfar> bbqlinux has them all
<jomp16> I want pure Arch :-P
<jomp16> I got Arch installed with the help of beginner instructions and of the a3Dman
<clibot> [Link] wiki.archlinux.org: Android - ArchWiki
<jomp16> Building Android section
<Thiagovfar> Why do some people take the most dificult ways?
<jomp16> To learn more Linux than use Ubuntu?
<jomp16> I will learn more Linux when i got my PC again (my mobo is broken)
<Thiagovfar> That's a valid point. But if your goal is to build android, why not starting with a working build environment?
<jomp16> Not building android, but use a Linux OS
<jomp16> For main purposes, move from Ubuntu and Windows
<Thiagovfar> Ok, then. Proceed as you will.
<RossWell98> jomp16: you use arch ?
<jomp16> More or less
<RossWell98> VM?
<jomp16> Yeah
<RossWell98> ah :(
<jomp16> Because my current PC is broken
<jomp16> And the other PC isn't my
<jomp16> So, VM
<RossWell98> Ok :/
<RossWell98> Arch or Ubuntu, for compile AOSP or other it's same ...
Kuzon has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]

<jomp16> Good
<jomp16> Ubuntu has some crap piece of software
<Thiagovfar> You can install a barebones ubuntu system
<Thiagovfar> It will have not much more than a shell and apt
<RossWell98> Ubuntu forces us things and wants to be independent of the Linux ecosystem ...
<jomp16> I'm talking about stock system, not a based system (like Mint)
<RossWell98> jomp16: Linux Mint ?
<jomp16> Cinnarch is good for the user who's want install Arch + DE by default
<jomp16> Yeah
<RossWell98> He's based on Ubuntu
<Thiagovfar> LFS might be just right for you.
<RossWell98> Thiagovfar: +1 :D
<jomp16> Not based system (like Mint), he's remove the commercial lents, etc, etc

<jomp16> Yeah
<jomp16> Gentoo?
<RossWell98> I've tested the install of Gentoo
<Thiagovfar> Gentoo is a nice system. But it compiles everything. That is slow as hell (compiling)
<jomp16> I have some friends who's uses Gentoo
<RossWell98> jomp16: Keep on ArchLinux :)
<jomp16> So, Arch is good for start point without much work
<jomp16> Modify the system from you want to be
<jomp16> For me only install a DE, some softwares, nvidia drivers, etc and it will can use in daily tasks

<codeworkx> bbqlinux = arch + mate + android stuff
<jomp16> cody: thanks for BBQLinux, but i want a daily os and not a one for androids stuffs

<RossWell98> jomp16: When you use a terminal

<RossWell98> :'(
<RossWell98> Why :'(
<jomp16> And fresh Arch isn't a CLI?
<RossWell98> :|
<RossWell98> :|
<jomp16> Why you dont like CLI?
<RossWell98> When you type "ls | grep lolcat" for example
<RossWell98> IT'S CLI !
<jomp16> Question...
<RossWell98> If i don't like CLI , i don't like Linux...
<RossWell98> :)
<jomp16> And Windows?
<RossWell98> Why use CLI in this s.. windows ?
<jomp16> For nothing lol
<RossWell98> Exactly
<jomp16> Buy Windows and won trojans, viruses, etc
<jomp16> Or download Linux and won experience and a protected PC
<RossWell98> Linux isn't protected :/
<jomp16> Less exploits and viruses?
<RossWell98> jomp16: If you want a clear system run rm -rf --no-preserve-root /*
<RossWell98> I love this command
<RossWell98> but please
<RossWell98> don't try
<jomp16> If the Linux community find a exploit, they fix it
<jomp16> I know about this command
<RossWell98> No just with a little script you linux is dead
<jomp16> This command isn't capable to run without su permissions
<RossWell98> Yes
<RossWell98> But a guy was run this command with su :'(
<RossWell98> RIP
<jomp16> You use this command?!
<jomp16> Or sudo
<RossWell98> Yes i've runned it
<RossWell98> But i've forgotten to unmount my /home part
<RossWell98> :'(
<jomp16> On your PC, on VM or pc of a friend?
<RossWell98> My PC long ago
<jomp16> Stupid question, MAC or Linux?
<RossWell98> Me ?
<jomp16> You prefer?
<RossWell98> Linux use the totallity of my HDD
<jomp16> In MB or the capabilities?
<RossWell98> MAC is for guys want a good work tool
<RossWell98> I think ...
<RossWell98> jomp16: in what?
<jomp16> "Linux use the totality of my HDD" isn't PC hardware?
<RossWell98> It's a hardware PC ô.o
<jomp16> HDD for me is the hard drive
<RossWell98> Yes
<RossWell98> For me too
<jomp16> MAC uses the all potential only of the mac hardware, and Linux uses of all hardware potentials
<RossWell98> idk
<RossWell98> But Linux is good for compatibilities etc
<jomp16> Some closed sauce hardware don't has good support
<RossWell98> ah ?
<jomp16> Nvidia and AMD is running file because they releases compiled binary for Linux?
<RossWell98> You can use nouveau for nvidia and radeon for AMD :)
<RossWell98> But yes
waratte has joined #teamhacksung-support
<jomp16> The open sauce doesn't use all potential, play Minecraft, open sauce lags, and closed don't lag
<RossWell98> Oh go, iI lost 10fps with open :D
<RossWell98> But I use nvidia :/
<jomp16> You use closed sauce?
<jomp16> For use is only pacman -S nvidia?
<RossWell98> jomp16: you've installed a 36 or 64bits OS ?
<RossWell98> 32*
<jomp16> VM 32, but for my PC i will install 64
<RossWell98> don't forget to active the multilib repo therefor :)
<jomp16> Enable in pacman.conf?
<RossWell98> And for Nvidia in 64bits its pacman -S nvidia lib32-nvidia-utils
<RossWell98> Yes
<RossWell98> if you want to use CUDA it's pacman -S opencl-nvidia
<jomp16> CUDA is?
<jomp16> Nevermind
<RossWell98> In some programs, you can use CUDA to use your CPU and your GPU for better performances
<RossWell98> Too bad, we can't compile android with CUDA
<jomp16> In multiarch .iso, has a option to install 64 bits system or is in bash?
<jomp16> My pc is a piece of shit, to compile android takes more or less 12 hours
<RossWell98> In the bootloader of the arch disk
<RossWell98> You select x86_64
<RossWell98> default, x86_64 is selected :)
<jomp16> AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+, 2gb ram ddr2, etc, etc
<RossWell98> :D
<jomp16> If the mobo + processor has support to 64?
<RossWell98> you AMD support 64bits :)
<jomp16> Iso bootloader is the install arch, boot to system, etc, etc?
<RossWell98> ISO bootloader
<jomp16> I know, i always use 64 bits
<jomp16> The new mobo whos is purchased has support to AM2, 2+, 3, 3+, ddr2 and 3
<jomp16> Whos I *

<jomp16> ASRock N68C-GS FX
<jomp16> Og, thanks
<jomp16> Oh *
<jomp16> I can install networkmanager on chroot?
<RossWell98> Launch you mean ?
<jomp16> Or i can install only in system? Because the network config dont start (on VM) and i got network after running a command to connect and instalk in pacman
<jomp16> dhpcd i think
<RossWell98> when you are in chroot your automatically connected to the network :)
<jomp16> A3Dman told to install this, this program avoid the network configuration
<RossWell98> Yes I use NM but he take 2sec to boot
<jomp16> In reboot system, after configure network in chroot in beginner instructions, no connect
<jomp16> 2 seconds is insignificant, but more than 10 is significant
<RossWell98> pacman -S networkmanager network-manager-applet
<RossWell98> and systemctl start NetworkManager
<RossWell98> if you want to start on boot systemctl enable NetworkManager
<jomp16> I only installed by pacman -S networkmanager and enabled/started
<RossWell98> case sensitive :)
<RossWell98> If you want to use NM in gnome
<RossWell98> install network-manager-applet
<jomp16> The original question is: i can install in arch-chroot on iso or after reboot?

<jomp16> And is possible to disable the "Welcome to GRUB"?
<RossWell98> IDK, I use syslinux
<jomp16> syslinux is like grub?
<RossWell98> GRUB is too old for me xD
<jomp16> But is the most popular bootloader
<RossWell98> Yes
<jomp16> Arch ISO uses syslinux?
<RossWell98> Yes

<a3Dman> Linux is just a kernel not operating system
<RossWell98> Yes
