people were thinking that it's lame to build Armbian on an SBC, now it's cool to do it!
<Rar9>
Merry Christmas🎄.... I would like to get my hdmi output on a rock64 on a 2k dell monitor. My old pi2 produces output nicely.... Is thereany way to clone the correctpu Monitor settingsaand portthem to the armbian boot?

Merry Xmas/happy holidays! could someone help me with these error messages please? trying to make "seaweedfs" from source and it itvolves go language: https://bpa.st/W3CA one seems to need Go1.12 , the other go1.13 anyone. now i am confused. googling didn't give any results. running it on armbian(64)
<Werner>
Then better go and get an up to date version of go :D

<fromport>
armbian seems to have only 1.11 available :-(
<Werner>
This is upstream package so Armbian cannot do anything about that
<fromport>
upgrade to bullseye?
<Werner>
That is up to you how you deal with the situation :)
<[TheBug]>
Manouchehri: the real questions is are YOU seeing issues?
<[TheBug]>
It is very possible someone has patched it
<[TheBug]>
Armbian does a lot of it's own patches

[TheBug]: I don't *think* I am, but I'm bout to use this as somewhat important piece of my remote infrastructure :P
<[TheBug]>
the grab iperf
<[TheBug]>
and run it for a while
<[TheBug]>
make sure there is no crazy drops or errors in dmesg
<[TheBug]>
thats how I would test for production at least
<Manouchehri>
I loaded the CPU up to 100% for several hours and used iperf overnight, didn't see anything unusual.
<[TheBug]>
then should be fine
<[TheBug]>
likely got patched
<Manouchehri>
the thing seems to be fine running at 80C too..
<Manouchehri>
[TheBug]: I was under the impression it was a hardware bug.
<[TheBug]>
well in that case I would still recommend a heatsink / fan as I would with any SBC but.. seeing as they can usually got to 100F and be okay..
<Manouchehri>
aside from really testing it in the next few days, it'll usually be idling.
<[TheBug]>
Manouchehri: still could be but worked around in code? Though I don't have a Pine A64 board so I couldn't tell you for sure
<[TheBug]>
I have the Rock64
<[TheBug]>
I think thats the only Pine board I have
<Manouchehri>
yeah I was an early adopter :P
<Manouchehri>
I found it frustrating so I didn't use it much for years.
