@anovacap (D9): Day 76 #100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfCloud #devops. 2 @thepine64 SOPINES were not reachable via ssh. After some research, I decided to try and reflash the @armbian Focal image to the micro SDs. My script to ssh into all nodes on the Clusterboard works now. Hooray! https://tinyurl.com/y8hwclzc (2s ago)

Its odd that it found in H series BSP. it might be a similar chip for H series
<Werner>
If you search for Allwinner H700 and go to a link for cnx software you find a comment from Jean where he mentions that "H700 AKA T5"
<kprasadvnsi[m]>
ah, that clear things up.

@lanefu (Lane Jennison): @WhatAintInside @TonyMac_32 @armbian @cnxsoft I hope 2025 calls and drops off mainline support for a few bleeding edge 2020 SoCs https://tinyurl.com/yal32vwl (22s ago)
<ArmbianTwitter>
@TonyMac_32 (Thomas McKahan): @WhatAintInside @armbian @cnxsoft It's worth noting that this isn't exactly the 2017 RK3399, and that other than the Amlogic S922X or A311D you won't find (m)any open market SoCs (that disqualifies the RPi4 one) to go toe to toe with it for a reasonable price. https://tinyurl.com/y7j9hstb (10s ago)

@bryan_paget (Bryan Paget): @CassidyJames @thepine64 @lizkecso @OfficialCricut Right. Makes sense. I've tried Elementary, KDE, XFCE4, GNOME and i3 on the device. I found the fastest was with Armbian when I changed the governor and upped the base CPU frequency. At that point I could almost run GNOME comfortably. https://tinyurl.com/y9hs3m63 (20s ago)

Tonymac32: how long you think I can make ttl serial jumpers with "22awg" (cuz chinese electronics wire)
<lanefu>
JST -> dupont connector
<Tonymac32>
hmmm
<[TheBug]>
I mean serial shouldn't degrade too much
<Tonymac32>
how long are you targetting?
<lanefu>
i dont trust hte voltage drop calcluators
<[TheBug]>
if your using 22awg that is
<Tonymac32>
voltage drop = not the problem
<[TheBug]>
thinner I would start being concerned
<Tonymac32>
parasitics at high speeds become the issue, capacitance/etc
<Tonymac32>
so how long are we talking?
<[TheBug]>
what is attenuation on serial anyways, I thought it was pretty generous
