@domcorriveau (๐ด๐ดDominic ๐ด๐ด): The amount of apps for arm64 in the Armbian repos and as Snaps is so awesome. Wanted to try scrcpy on PBP and it was right there in the repos. ๐ https://tinyurl.com/yhl9fpp4 (10s ago)

I am a bit confused on a system that I think is running amrbian. /etc/default contains many files like armbian-motd but lsb_release -a shows Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
<keesj>
I have been using this system for a few months and just want(ed) to create a user cron job but there also I am getting confused /usr/bin/cron is running but /etc/defaults/cron suggests I use systemctl edit --full cron.service
<keesj>
does that look like armbian?

has Welcome to Armbian 21.05.0-trunk.36 Focal with Linux 5.10.20-meson64
<HerculeP>
on connect using ssh
<HerculeP>
only one line mentioning (beta.)armbian in apt update
<keesj>
it's ok :P things are starting to more forward e.g. systemctl status cron.service shows my (user) job is running but there is not proper output e.g.
<keesj>
Mar 19 12:14:02 lime-a10 CRON[26293]: (CRON) info (No MTA installed, discarding output)
<keesj>
getting an error would be really nice :P
<lanefu>
keesj: that's armbian
<lanefu>
Armbian is more of a deriviative than a full blowndistribution

IgorPec: I'm doing investigation on my packaging issue. I found that 'package_hash' doesn't match with files on the server, so 'rootfs' is not downloaded...
<martinayotte_>
Looking at the code, it seems due to the fact that I checked some packages options to be added such "browser", "editor", etc.
<martinayotte_>
I've just started a build without these added packages to see if 'package_hash' will be good. In such cash, the issue is in 'get_package_list_hash' function.
<martinayotte_>
Build still ongoing, but I've just saw that now the download succeeded, so the 'package_hash' is now good as long as I don't check any option.

<IgorPec>
we don't privide all cache variants
<IgorPec>
there are lots of combinations
<IgorPec>
if you choose some other application group, cache is different

IgorPec, so the variants available are, for example, all checked and none checked ? we should then group them, not providing checkboxes for each ... :-P
