<Tony_mac32> TRS-80
<TRS-80> I thought I snuck in quietly :)
<TRS-80> thou art too observant, old friend
<Tony_mac32> I'm hill people, you don't sneak up on us
<Tony_mac32> have to protect the still
<Tony_mac32> :D
<Tony_mac32> I didn't even think about that use case until recently, now one of my boards is running my Shed
<Tony_mac32> :D
<TRS-80> Back. Had to locate following, relevant: https://trs-80.isnotmyreal.name/share/appalachapta.jpg
<TRS-80> also, Gator McKlusky :)
<TRS-80> My PinePhone arrived! Thinking about going to get food and check the post soon.
<TRS-80> I think I also have all the parts (maybe) to put ROCKPro64 based NAS together.
<Tony_mac32> haha nice
<TRS-80> ZFS, here I come! Finally! Wanted to do it for years noe on some ARM NAS.
<TRS-80> s/noe/now/
<ArmbianHelper> TRS-80 meant to say: ZFS, here I come! Finally! Wanted to do it for years now on some ARM NAS.
<TRS-80> But I am probably most excited about PinePhone.

<TRS-80> I plan on a lot of (probably MySensors based) uC nodes when I buy land and build my new place.
<TRS-80> Probably some drones, too. With heat cameras. Patrolling 24x7. Auto launch and recovery. I'm sure the neighbors will talk about the crazy wizard who lives up hte mountain.
<TRS-80> I was already leaning towards making a freshie, but with your appearance, it's now official.
<TRS-80> Tony_mac32: Also, looking at your repo there, I don't see a loicense! ;)

<mrueg> what are folks in here using to automate bootstrapping of their boards? Thinking about many armbian boards that get a copy of the vanilla armbian and then get an initial setup on first boot through ssh or similar. Is ansible my only choice or are there other solutions out ther that I'm missing?

<PPA> I'm trying to compile something on my OPiPC, running a 5.11.6sunxi-dev bullseye, and the memory just gets used up very quickly and the board hangs

<PPA> which is odd because when I compiled the same thing on a 5.11.3 bullseye two weeks ago this didn't happen and it all went smoothly

<PPA> did 5.11.3 -> 5.11.6 change anything or could the problem lie elsewhere?

<ArmbianTwitter> @seeteegee (Chris McGee): Little did I know that the stock latest custom armbian software on the #pinecube already has full motion detection, storage of videos and a web interface to work with it. That'll be useful someday when I replace my frontdoor camera. https://tinyurl.com/yjmvhkbs (3s ago)

<PPA> Yeah, must be something with the program being compiled (GStreamer). The same happens on a Rock64 with Hirsuite on 5.11.0yes

<ArmbianTwitter> @whitequark (whitequark): the workaround is to put the following somewhere in /boot/armbian_first_run.txt (which is a shell script): rm /root/.not_logged_in_yet echo "root:<password>" | chpasswd https://tinyurl.com/yfrfgp4e (2s ago)
